Here's a new collection of lyrical songs. The first song features one of my favorite artists and biggest songwriting influences, Phil Dickey of Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin. I first saw them in 2008 at the Black Cat in Washington DC. We got the oppoortunity to open a show for them at the Brillobox in Pittsburgh in 2009 and it was amazing

Here's a new collection of lyrical songs. The first song features one of my favorite artists and biggest songwriting influences, Phil Dickey of Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin. I first saw them in 2008 at the Black Cat in Washington DC. We got the oppoortunity to open a show for them at the Brillobox in Pittsburgh in 2009 and it was amazing getting to meet some of my musical heroes. Before the show I went to Gabriel's and bought the largest pair of tightey-whiteys they had and had the band autograph them. The only question they asked was if they were clean.

The next two tracks are journalistic songs documenting my relationship with my now fiance. Here to Stay is a love song and features some of my favorite writing and production.

Ms. Lyss documents our first date. It was written, recorded and mixed in the style of early rock'n'roll, one of my favorite genres. Almost everything was recorded with a ribbon mic, drums tucked into the mix, vocals upfront & mastered to tape.
